【摘要】:Thistestmethodoutlinestheuseofdynamicmechanicalinstrumentationfordeterminingandreportingtheviscoelasticpropertiesofthermoplasticandthermosettingresinsandcompositesystemsintheformofrectangularbarsmoldeddirectlyorcutfromsheets,plates,ormoldedshapes.Theelasticmodulusdatageneratedmaybeusedtoidentifythethermomechanicalpropertiesofaplasticsmaterialorcomposition.Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovideameansfordeterminingtheviscoelasticpropertiesofawidevarietyofplasticsusingnonresonant,forced-vibrationtechniquesasoutlinedinPracticeD4065.Inparticular,thismethodidentifiestheproceduresusedtomeasurepropertiesusingwhatisknownasadual-cantileverbeamflexurearrangement.Plotsoftheelastic(storage)modulus,loss(viscous)modulus,andcomplexmodulus,andtandeltaasafunctionoffrequency,time,ortemperatureareindicativeofsignificanttransitionsinthethermomechanicalperformanceofthepolymericmaterialsystems.Thistestmethodisvalidforawiderangeoffrequencies,typicallyfrom0.01to100Hz.Apparentdiscrepanciesmayariseinresultsobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Theseapparentdifferencesfromresultsobservedinanotherstudycanusuallybereconciled,withoutchangingtheobserveddata,byreportinginfull(asdescribedinthistestmethod)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawereobtained.Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodarerelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesfortheprecisemeasurementofthetotalsulfurcontentofgasolinesanddieselswithminimalsamplepreparationandanalystinvolvement.Thetypicaltimeforeachanalysisistwotothreeminutes.Knowledgeofthesulfurcontentofdieselfuels,gasolines,andrefineryprocessstreamsusedtoblendgasolinesisimportantforprocesscontrolaswellasthepredictionandcontrolofoperationalproblemssuchasunitcorrosionandcatalystpoisoning,andintheblendingofproductstocommodityspecifications.Variousfederal,state,andlocalagenciesregulatethesulfurcontentofsomepetroleumproducts,includinggasolineanddieselfuel.Unbiasedandprecisedeterminationofsulfurintheseproductsiscriticaltocompliancewithregulatorystandards.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalsulfurbymonochromatic,wavelength-dispersiveX-rayfluorescence(MWDXRF)spectrometryinsingle-phasegasolines,dieselfuels,andrefineryprocessstreamsusedtoblendgasolineanddiesel,atconcentrationsfrom2mg/kgto500mg/kg.Theprecisionofthistestmethodwasdeterminedbyaninterlaboratorystudyusingrepresentativesamplesoftheliquidsdescribedin1.1and1.2.Thepooledlimitofquantitation(PLOQ)wasestimatedtobe4mg/kg.Note1Volatilesamplessuchashigh-vapor-pressuregasolinesorlighthydrocarbonsmightnotmeetthestatedprecisionbecauseoftheevaporationoflightcomponentsduringtheanalysis.1.2GasolinesamplescontainingoxygenatesmaybeanalyzedwiththistestmethodprovidedthematrixofthecalibrationstandardsiseithermatchedtothesamplematricesorthematrixcorrectiondescribedinAnnexA1isappliedtotheresults.TheconditionsformatrixmatchingandmatrixcorrectionareprovidedintheInterferencessection(Section5).1.3Gasolinesanddieselswithsulfurcontentsabove500mg/kgcanbeanalyzedafterdilutionwithappropriatesolvent(see5.2).Theprecisionandbiasofsulfurdeterminationsondilutedsampleshasnotbeendeterminedandmaynotbethesameasshownforneatsamples(Section15).1.4Whentheelementalcompositionofthesamplesdiffersignificantlyfromthecalibrationstandardsusedtopreparethecalibrationcurve,thecautionsandrecommendationinSection5shouldbecarefullyobserved.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardinformation,see3.1.
