【摘要】:Thisdocumentdescribesequipmentinspectionandradiofrequency(rf)electromagneticfieldmeasurementproceduresforevaluationofrfindustrial,scientific,andmedical(ISM)equipmentinstalledintheuser'sfacility.Theterm,“ISMequipment,”asusedhere,includesequipmentthatgeneratesrfenergyforpurposesotherthanradiocommunications,tocausephysical,chemical,orbiologicalchanges;forexample,industrialheaters(dielectricandinduction),medicaldiathermy,ultrasonicequipment,rfplasmadevices,andrfstabilizedwelders.Theseproceduresaredesignedtohelpensurethattheequipmentdoesnotinterferewithradiocommunications,navigation,andotheressentialradioservices.TheengineerresponsibleforthemeasurementsshouldtakeallreasonableprecautionstoensurethatthemaximumemissionfromtheISMequipmentundertest(EUT)hasbeenmeasured.
