【摘要】:Itprovidesasystemfortheidentificationandpresentationofinformationaboutfreightcontainerelectronicseals.Theidentificationsystemprovidesanunambiguousanduniqueidentificationofthecontainerseal,itsstatusandrelatedinformation.Thepresentationofthisinformationisprovidedthrougharadio-communicationsinterfaceprovidingsealidentificationandamethodfordeterminingwhetherafreightcontainer'ssealhasbeenopened.Itspecifiesaread-only,non-reusablefreightcontainersealidentificationsystem,withanassociatedsystemforverifyingtheaccuracyofuse,havingasealstatusidentificationsystem,abatterystatusindicator,auniquesealidentifierincludingtheidentificationofthemanufacturer,seal(tag)type.ItisusedinconjunctionwiththeotherpartsofISO18185.ItappliestoallelectronicsealsusedonfreightcontainerscoveredbyISO668,ISO1496-1toISO1496-5,andISO8323.Whereverappropriateandpracticable,italsoappliestofreightcontainersotherthanthosecoveredbytheseInternationalStandards.
